About Jebel K9

Canadian Jebel K9 was founded out of a deep love for dogs and passion for training, and is managed by a dedicated team who also care for their own pack of German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and mixed-breed Omani dogs. With extensive qualifications as a Master Trainer, Dog Behaviorist, and certifications in Kennel Management, Support Dogs, Tracking & Detection, Canine Nutrition, and First Aid, the center brings a wealth of expertise to every aspect of canine care and training. Beyond working with pets and their owners to strengthen their bond, they also conduct seminars and workshops on dog communication and behavior, while training dogs and handlers for both Police and Military service.

We conducted a survey of 100 dog owners in the Oman region. 75% of respondents stated that a professional, easy-to-use website was a crucial factor in their decision-making process for pet services.

Our competitive analysis of other pet care providers in the Middle East showed that top-tier resorts had visually rich, mobile-optimized websites with clear service descriptions and prominent calls-to-action.

We conducted a simple usability test on the old website with 10 participants. The average time to find a service contact number was 2 minutes and 15 seconds, which we identified as a significant point of friction.

We held workshops with the JebelK9 team to understand their brand values and unique selling propositions. We mapped out user journeys for key personas, such as "The New Boarding Client" and "The Dog Training Enquirer."

Based on our research, we streamlined the website's structure. We moved from a cluttered, multi-level navigation to a simplified, intuitive menu. The new sitemap prioritizes key services like "Luxury Boarding," "Training," and "Day Care," making them accessible within one click from the homepage.

We created low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes for both desktop and mobile views. The mobile-first approach was crucial, as our analytics showed that over 60% of their previous website traffic was from mobile devices.

Each service page now acts as a mini-landing page, featuring detailed descriptions, a gallery of professional photos, and a clear breakdown of what's included. The "Training" page, for example, clearly outlines the benefits of each program (Private, Group, etc.), helping owners choose the best fit for their dog.

We integrated interactive features, such as a scroll-triggered photo gallery and customer testimonials that slide into view. This dynamic content holds the user's attention and provides social proof.

The mobile experience is seamless. The navigation bar is a clean hamburger menu, and all images are optimized for fast loading on cellular networks, a critical feature for a region where mobile access is prevalent.
